Singing Soulstress Amba Tremain brings you ‘Cinematic Soul’, a powerful sound that blends brand new music with old school vibes, creating songs that have the power to transport you back in time. With a heavy dose of commercial blues, rock and RnB, there are influences of Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Lady Wray and Alicia Keys evident in her writing and performance.
Amba delivers a huge, gritty, unadulterated soul show and packs a big punch with her live vocals. Her songs are real stories about passion, love, heartbreak and honest feelings… Some will even move you to tears.
Amba is a firm fixture on the live music scene, be it fronting classic soul bands ‘The Soul Session’ and ‘The Legends of Soul Songbook’, entertaining huge crowds with her duo The Floor Fillerz or out performing her own music with her band. Amba has also provided backing vocals for legends such as Boy George, Eva Cassidy and Rumer.
Since the moment she left school she has played thousands of gigs, provided vocals for past and present superstars, appeared on over 200,000 playlists worldwide with her covers projects ‘Blame Jones’ and ‘Franklyn Jay’ who can be heard on commercials (Renault 2025 campaign) TV shows such as Love Island (UK + USA) Greatest Dancer and Strictly Come Dancing spin off ‘It takes two’. She has even enjoyed recognition for her own music by BBC introducing and radio stations worldwide as well as being a regularly featured vocalist with British soul/blues artist Jo Harman, Stefan Redtenbachers ‘Funkestra and Soul Picnic’.
