About Sir Trevor McDonald – Sir Trevor has had a long and distinguished career in television news and is best known for fronting ITN’s News at Ten, Tonight with Trevor McDonald and the acclaimed documentaries on subjects as varied as Death Row, notorious UK killers and the Caribbean. Sir Trevor was Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1999 for his services to journalism. He has also received numerous awards for his work. Having been named Newscaster of the Year three times and has received Honorary Degrees from eight Universities.
Over the years, Sir Trevor has travelled the globe meeting and interviewing the world’s leaders.
